During this week, we have made alot of progress. Since we only had two people in our group we divided the topics into two. We chose to make up our own questions, and have covered the first ten topics. We decided to make three questions for each topic and has 30 questions so far. We have also learned alot this week, and are learning from each other. We have a basic sketch of our board game and know how we want everything to go. This took alot of brainstorming, but we have been diligently making progress. Our board layout is just like monopoly, it has ten squares on each side. It resembles monopoly because it has a start, a trap zone, a trap, and a thinking zone. The trap zone is like the jail in monopoly. And the trap is like the go to jail square in monopoly. Our board also has a risk and reward, these are like the chance and community chest of monopoly. Our board game's name is Cranium Revolvus. We chose this name because you will need to use your brain/cranium to get around the board. So far we are doing good, having fun, and making progress...

Camilo Machuca, Nyende' Vaughn, Corey Whitmire, Luis Robledo

During this week we have all made some progress. Camilo has been doing research mainly on the slavery in brazil and taking notes on the sugar plantations, while Luis has been getting a lot of information on the Jesuits and Missionaries and the Conquest of Mexico along with the Maafa/Middle passage. Corey has been working on the Tea and Opium Trade and has gotten many notes. All the meanwhile, Nyende has been looking into the Exploration, the Reformation, and the Enlightenment.

Other than getting information we have already decided the ideas for our board for the most part. We have decided to call our game Flashback, a game where Cronus the Father of Time sends you back to discover the importance of the past all while trying to save yourself from your time running out. It's going to be a square game, with each section having it's own dominance of history and as you go around you answer questions of each spot. Based on your answer, you will either stay in your plave, go back, or move ahead in time. We're all having fun, and moving ahead.

Our colors are currentlly blue, yellow, green and orange. We have also decided on a name for our game!! it is: KNOW IT ALL© (NOT FOR SALE UNLESS PAYED FOR NO CHECKS CREDIT CARDS OR MONEY ORDERS WE ONLY ACCEPT CASH$) TK- is also working on the instructions for the game, while JAZ and ADRIAN are coming up with the game pieces and etc. Compliments to all of our phones we have succesfully comunicated with each other and we all have equally divided up the work. we have learned alot from reading on each others topics as well as evaluating and making up questions on our own. We have confidence in our game and we appreciate you reading our blog/comment thing! Well, until next week BYYYYYYEEEEEE!

This has been a hilarious and productive week for us. We've managed to dived all the topics up, with 4 questions for each one. We've managed to get some good points on all topics and now beginning to form some of our questions. Since 100 questions is a lot of questions, we're definitely using some of the Upon Completion questions on the site. Our plan for our board game is pretty good too. Our layout is alot like the Game of Life. We plan to work out some of the kinks that come with that idea, but as we conttinue to work, the ideas work out for themselves. Our group is funny as i don't know what, so this is definitely becoming an interesting experience. Next week we plan to star on the board.

This week our group decided that our game title is going to be Back to the Past. The game consists of 6 catagories of 102 questions which we are making progress in the are too. I have 30, Enrica has 29 and Angelo has 18. we have also decided on the rules and gameplay directions. Our game is constructed in a spiral and the object is to get through the clock round in the center of the board. When you answer a question you advance by dice and follow the directions on the bottom of the space in which you landed. at the end, you will have to answer 12 questions (2 from each catagory) to win. each different game piece will have a diferent effect that can be activated at certain spaces. We are moving along at a reasonable pace and should be done soon

Our group has made plenty of progress. We have divided the questions as equal as possible. We all have 8 topics with the exception of joanne and chelsy who have 9. each of us are doing 20 questions making a total of 80 questions. We have also decided on the title of our game which is Histopoly. Nice name isen't it. We even have decided on the setup of the game. Joanne and Chelsy have volunteered to gather material that aren't provided which would be things like the board, the peices and so on. As far as the completed questions we have all completed at least 5 questions if not more with answers. By next week we should be completed with the questions. For the research we have been mostly using books. We work together nicely and have no problems making creative dicussions about what we like and dislike.

Our group has made alot of progress. We completed all of our questions and we plan to start and finish the actual game board on wednesday. We havent had any arguments so far, and everyone seems to be doing their part. We split up the questions equally between us, and the cost for the board supplies will be split up amongst us as well. -Liteal, Moira, Antwoine, and Paloma. 3/20/09

During this week our group has made progress in many fields even as I type, work is being done to ensure that our project is to be completed. We have already finished our regular questions. There is a unversial feeling that there is progress, but I feel that my group is doing exceptionally well. Currently we are ironing out the kinks and details of our game board. So far we feel that we have a good concept and overall believe that the game will be enjoyable to it's audience. -Paloma, Moira, Liteal, Antwione

This week we completed all of our Questions, and we are currently working on the game board look and the total outlook of the game. Because TK did our world that trade created questions, so in turn the class is going to do the timeline, and we will trade our questions for there timeline. SO all we have to do now is work on our outline.
